BIM for PUB Projects

Training session facilitated by Ace Industrial Academy.

Course description: Themed classes are training content specially created based on AcePLP’s experience in handling similar real-life projects.

In this course, learners will be introduced to the BIM and CAD technology regularly deployed on infrastructure projects by the Public Utilities Board (PUB) in Singapore.

Learners will be trained on the basic operating functions and tools of the technology on a step-by-step basis, following the project management workflow.

In Autodesk Civil 3D, learners will develop specialized skills in 3D modelling for projects under the category of Gravity Pipe Systems and Part Building.

In Bentley MicroStation, trainees will learn the subsurface utilities engineering platform that allows for the setting up of feature definition library, create the element template, customize the drainage structure file and workspaces for sewerage network.

The content for this course will be regularly updated by AcePLP’s BIM specialists who have been deployed on similar PUB projects.

This course is useful for drafters, engineers, and surveyors who need to understand, edit and deliver designs for civil infrastructure projects.
