Course Overview
This course will equip Built Environment Professionals with the knowledge for navigating the new regulatory approval process for building works (RABW). In this class, learners will be taken through the new 3-Gateway submission process, the requirements at each gateway, joint-submission, plan processing, and RABW's supporting mechanisms. Learners will work on case studies for practical application of agency and gateway requirements.

LO1: Explain the key differences between the current and new regulatory landscape
LO2: Interpret the type of work activities in the 3-Gateway submission process
LO3: Articulate the key requirements at each gateway
LO4: Determine the detail work activities in the 3-Gateway submission process
LO5: Articulate the processes and timeline requirements of the new RABW
Course Relevance To Employment
This course is suitable for professionals of the Built Environment who are directly or indirectly involved in the submission of their building projects on CORENET X for regulatory approval.

Assessment
At the end of this course, learners will go through an assessment.
Learners who achieve the Course Completion Requirements will be accorded a WSQ certificate.
Entry Requirements
At least a diploma in architecture, green building and sustainability, mechanical and electrical, engineering, or any built-environment related course
English language proficiency at GCE ‘O’ level of C6 and above, or WSQ Workplace Literacy skills of Level 6 and above
No prior working experience required
Learners who do not qualify in terms of education but have at least one year working experience in the Built Environment will be admitted on a case-by-case basis.
